(PR) Los Angeles by way of Chicago band TRS-80 has been busy gearing up for the November 21 release of its new album, Demixes. According to the band’s website, “Demixes is the sister release to Mystery Crash and features the audio manipulation talents of John Talaga aka Fashion Flesh on tracks 5-9. John is known for his ‘off the grid’ approach to music and has also remixed artists like Cornelius, Stereo Total, and Momus. Also included are four new TRS-80 mixes and three recordings from a live studio session in Santa Monica that took place shortly after their West Coast tour this summer. The single take recordings capture the essence of TRS-80's live shows rarely heard outside of a music venue.”

The release of Demixes will also involve a promotion with Rhapsody, which will be effective November 21st - December 31st. The promotion includes a free download of the single “Special Effect (Blacklight Mix)”. The song “Special Effect” in its original version can be found on Demixes’ sister release, Mystery Crash, and has already proven its popularity by being the most downloaded track from a record on iTunes.
