(PR) MVD will be going Old School on 6/5 with new DVD releases from Frankie Laine, Vic Damone, Sam Moore and more. Here are the details of each:

LAINE, FRANKIE - THAT OLD LUCKY SUN: This DVD features a full Frankie Laine concert from a 1976 tour of the UK, and includes the hit songs That Old Lucky Sun, Jezebel, Jealousy, and more. Laine, who sadly passed away in February 2007, was one of the great singers and showmen of the last sixty years. As one of the most popular vocalists of the 1950s, he performed swinging jazz standards as well as several Western movie themes with his manly baritone. He charted more than 70 records, 21 of which went gold, and sold more than 250 million discs worldwide. This program serves as a perfect example of the beautiful music he brought into this world.

DAMONE, VIC - ON THE STREET WHERE YOU LIVE: Recorded at the world famous Royal Festival Hall in London on March 7th 1985, this DVD includes Damone's classics such as "On the Street Where You Live" and "An Affair to Remember" as well as many other hits and standards from his vast repertoire. Accompanied by the Northern Dance Orchestra & Conductor - Norman Geller, Damone enchants and entertains as only a professional at the very top of his game can do. Over the course of his illustrious career, Damone recorded over 2,000 songs, appeared in several motion pictures, had his own TV show on NBC, and his own radio series on WHN New York. MOORE, SAM - THE ORIGINAL SOULMAN: This DVD features 2 complete sets performed by the original soul man, Sam Moore. The first set was recorded live in Cannes, France and the second comes from the Church Street Station in Kissimmee, Florida. Moore, one half of the famous R&B duo Sam and Dave, has earned seven gold and platinum records and a 1967 Grammy Award. One of Stax Record's most successful groups, Sam and Dave were known for their trademark call and response style and emotional intensity, which echoed Sam's early years as a gospel singer. CRUISIN' HITS OF THE 60'S: The performances on Cruisin' Hits of the '60s were recorded live at the Rock 'n Roll Palace in Orlando, Florida.
