Ditto Music began as two musicians/industry workers who believed that too much independent music was being ignored. Artists are always chasing the ever-elusive 'Record 'Deal' and more and more of the chart is what the majors give us. Plenty of unsigned artists want to release a record - but there was never (until now) anything in place to do that.
It is fair to say that Ditto revolutionised the industry - the usual business model of unsigned artists chasing labels has finished. Artists can release what they want, when they want, where they want and on their own terms. Ditto are still the ONLY company in the UK to offer this service. Ditto are also set to launch their own e-commerce site exclusively for their artists and labels on 25th June 2007 � making them the first distributor to do so.[see full story for more]
