(PR) Adam Franklin spent the 1990s as singer, guitarist and main songwriter for London-based Swervedriver, the genre-breaching Creation Records rock band. Since then, he's collaborated with friends (most recently, a project with Interpol drummer Sam Fogarino called Setting Suns) and led the ambient/experimental Toshack Highway. Now, in support of his forthcoming solo debut, Franklin has announced a NYC album release party and West Coast tour dates in July. Plans for a full national tour at in the works for the fall. Those on the East Coast can catch Franklin live on July 2nd, celebrating the release of Bolts of Melody at the Mercury Lounge in New York City.
