06/28/07
.
(DiR) Circus Diablo, the band fronted by The Cult's Billy Morrison and also features Billy Duffy (The Cult), Ricky Warwick (Almighty), and Brett Scallions (Fuel) are releasing their self-titled debut album next week. The album features a guest appearance by Matt Sorum (Guns N' Roses, The Cult, Velvet Revolver) who played the drums on all of the tracks. Slut's Charles Ruggiero will be drumming on the upcoming tour with Mondo Generator and on Ozzfest.

To celebrate the release, we asked frontman Billy Morrison to give us the lowdown on his top five favorite tracks from the CD. Here's Billy will today's song. SHINE. The first song I have ever written about a specific woman. Normally the girl in my head that I write about is a combination of people in my life, past present or future. But this song is about my wife, and how I feel about her. I have always been somewhat of...whats the nice way of putting it?...a whore!! But meeting my wife and getting married has been the single best experience of my life. To find a soulmate in this life is a rare event, and she changed my world in every way possible. She truly SHINES for me. Sickly sweet, but very true. [grab a listen at the full story link and pick up the CD next Tuesday! Also note the tour correction in the intro. Sorry, they are not touring with QOTSA as we mentioned yesterday] - Click here for the Full Story
