(PR) With only three weeks till the release of Static-X�s album on April 3rd, the band wants to give their fans another taste of Cannibal. �Destroyer� is the second track off of the new album with the raw heavy sound that Wayne Static wanted to bring this time. �I focused on stripping away the excess as much as possible to write short, simple, catchy songs,� Static says. This back-to-basics style for Cannibal has a lot to do with Wayne taking over most of the producer duties. Static teamed with producer/engineer John Travis (Kid Rock, Buckcherry) to help create the new sound. �I had a vision for this record, which is why I wanted to produce it myself,� Static says.
