John Hughley RIP

(Contact Music) Musician John Hughley has died. He was 73. The steel guitarist, who made a name for himself playing for country stars Conway Twitty and Vince Gill, passed away in Nashville, Tennessee, on Sunday (18Nov07).

The Arkansas native worked with childhood friend Twitty for two decades until the late 1980s, before going on to play for Loretta Lynn and Gill.

Most recently, he became a member of touring musicians the Time Jumpers. - more on this story
