Twenty years ago the release of The Joshua Tree catapulted U2 to soaring levels of popularity. To commemorate the twenty year anniversary the album will be re-released as a single re-mastered CD, a 2CD set, a 2 CD 1 DVD package and a double vinyl set. The band has also contributed new liner notes to the album.
There has also been speculation that the rare material added to the expanded version will be Joshua Tree demos, alternate versions and b-sides. The DVD is said to include the July 4th 1987 performance at the Paris Hippodrome as well as the documentary "Outside Its America." The reissue will be available November 20th courtesy of UMe. - More music news and features at Filter
