"Everything's fine- just had to get home," Lowery reportedly wrote on his MySpace page. "Hated to leave. Love all the KORN guys and had a blast with them."
Shane Gibson will reportedly take Lowery's place. Gibson was tapped by Korn frontman Jonathan Davis to play with him on his upcoming solo acoustic tour but it looks like he has been called into the game early.
Korn has yet to permanently fill the guitarist slot left open when Brian "Head" Welch left the group in February of 2005 after finding Jesus. Lowery was the second guitarist to temp in the position having replaced Otep's Rob Patterson earlier this year.
*we were unable to confirm the Myspace comments as a search for Clint's Myspace page turned up several "inactive accounts" but the comments were reported on Metal Underground and Blabbermouth.
