In the summer of 1994 The Mighty Mighty Bosstones wanted to come up with a way to say Thank you to the city and the people that had been so supportive of the them, that�s how The �Hometown Throwdown� was born and now the best dressed band from Boston is back after a 4 year hiatus, this years already sold out Hometown Throwdown will be at The Middle East, kicking off on Wednesday December 26 thru Sunday December 30 for a five night stand.
The Hometown Throwdown--Boston�s biggest party of the holiday season featuring plastic Santa�s, dancing Menorah�s and a holiday themed backdrop adorning the stage, a hard hitting, horn-driven, action packed five days of anthemic ska-punk delivered with care and conviction by The Mighty Mighty Bosstones as well as many other music performances, you never really know whose going to show up.
