The album is aptly titled By The People, For The People, because it is entirely fan-generated. Since September 26th, votes were cast and comments were posted to help pick the album track listing. In addition, fans submitted creative entries of art for the fan generated album artwork initiative. Today, Mudvayne is pleased to announce the final track listing and the official fan-generated album art for By The People, For The People at mudvayne.com, the bands official site. The album consists of 16 tracks as well as 17 interludes that intertwine several demo and acoustic tracks, live versions of hits as well as two new recordings including the first single, Dull Boy.
Preceding each track is a personal introduction by Chad Gray discussing how each song came about. "The creation of this album has been very exciting for us because we were able to do something with our fans that has never been done before; you voted and we listened. By The People, For The People is not just a title, but a collaborative effort with our fans to create a special and meaningful album said lead singer Chad Gray.
Singer Chad Gray and guitarist Greg Tribbett are on tour with HELLYEAH for the remainder of 2007. However, Mudvayne returns with a new studio album in 2008.
