(Victory) BAYSIDE will be performing an acoustic set at the Newbury Comics in Leominster, MA for the first annual Record Store Day on April 19th, 2008, which will encompass events across the country.

"My favorite part about independent record stores is the dedication to music," notes BAYSIDE singer, Anthony Raneri. "The bigger chains could be selling records, soap or burritos and wouldn't know the difference. The indies know their product and love it." Currently touring the US with The Starting Line, The band's re-release of latest album The Walking Wounded, complete with bonus DVD, is out on July 22nd. Their new full-length, tentatively titled Shudder, will be produced by David Schiffman (Weezer, Jimmy Eat World, Johnny Cash), and released later this year.

Also taking part in Record Store Day is Minnesota's FOUR LETTER LIE, who will be performing at West at Dimple Records in Sacramento, CA. They'll also be signing copies of their latest release, What A Terrible Thing To Say.

In addition to these, fellow Victory artists RED I FLIGHT, ACROSS FIVE APRILS and SECRET LIVES OF THE FREEMASONS will also be appearing at Championship Records in Lemoyne, PA for a signing, ticket giveaway, plus an acoustic set from SECRET LIVES!
