(Blabbermouth) DREAM THEATER drummer Mike Portnoy has collaborated with former SPOCK'S BEARD frontman Neal Morse and guitarist Paul Gilbert (ex-MR. BIG, RACER X) on a cover of THE OSMONDS' "Crazy Horses".

The track, which will appear on Morse's forthcoming solo album, features Portnoy on drums and lead vocals.

Released in 1972, "Crazy Horses" was reportedly written about air pollution (with "crazy horses" representing automobiles) and was originally banned in South Africa because "horses" is a slang term for heroin there. - more on this story
