The band will be playing dates with the Semi Precious Weapons and Von Iva through February 10 in Detroit and then plan to tour further with the Von Bondies (confirmed dates are not available for these at this moment).
Nico Vega has garnered comparisons to everyone from PJ Harvey, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Led Zeppelin, and the band's first full length will only build upon and add more to those eclectic comparisons.
The album follows up on EP No Child Left Behind which Spin.com anointed as their "Artist Of The Day." The new album was produced by Linda Perry (Pink, Courtney Love and Gwen Stefani) and Tim Edgar (Early Greyhound) and mixed by Tchad Blake (Pearl Jam, Elvis Costello, Peter Gabriel). A video for the song "Burn Burn" will be shot before the end of the year.
