BBC has the story: Teen pop star Hannah Montana has topped the North American box office with the new 3D film of her recent tour.

Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds shows actress Cyrus, 15, as herself backstage and onstage as her Disney pop star alter-ego Montana.

The film took $29m (�14.7m) beating newly-released horror film The Eye - $13m (�6.6m) - into second place. - more on this story
