Lenedra Carroll is working with the 26-year-old artist with the aim of producing a chart-topping pop album. Simon Spire formerly known in New Zealand as Simon Huljich will release his debut album through Sony BMG/Rajon Records in New Zealand on August 20. Titled ALL or NOTHING, the album was recorded in Sedona, Arizona. His shows in the US begin September 7th after the NZ album release.
Simon has recently enjoyed a sellout crowd at New York's famous rock club The Bitter End, featured as a guest performer on Voice of America's Border Crossings radio show.
He won an honorable mention award in the 2007 USA Songwriting Competition when two songs from his debut album "ALL or NOTHING" made it into the finals. He was also selected by Jewel's former manager, Lenedra Carroll, as the first recipient of an Artist Advance Main Stage award.
