The first album, La musique du Jardin, slated for release October 21, 2008, was produced by Brian Dobbs, and features musicians: Chris Wyse (The Cult, Ozzy, Mick Jagger), Shon Sullivan (Elliot Smith, Eels, Neil Finn), Scott Reeder (Fu Manchu), and Danny Jacob (Elton John, Brian Adams). Every track brings you unmatched talent that undoubtedly is a true testament to the musical capacity of these artists.
Musically and lyrically the album is aurally sensational. The esoteric lyrics accompany the sweeping guitar chords impeccably. Michael-Louis' demonstration of raw talent displays experience that is well beyond what would typically be expected of a young songwriter such as himself.
"I love watching these guys perform," says Sarah Torribio-Bond (Music Connection Magazine), "It's so refreshing to catch a great act with such talented individuals before they explode. Rosemary's Garden gives us a truly eclectic sound, and provides incisive social commentary with lush musical tapestry."
Touring in Brazil from June 18 through July 8, Rosemary's Garden will be filming 3 videos for the tracks "Hard Times," "Adelaide," and "Forever Lily," with the help of award winning Brazilian videographer, Ricardo Spencer. You can also check out "Flower Song" and "Drowning" on Uicradio.org. Post the return from Brazil, shows are scheduled for late August and throughout September.
