(PR) VH1 Classic will air the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony" LIVE on Monday, March 10 at 8:30 PM/ET. Music fans will get to see and hear Madonna, John Mellencamp, Leonard Cohen, The Dave Clark Five and The Ventures get inducted into this esteemed musical institution as the action and music unfolds. In addition, Little Walter will be inducted into the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's" sideman category, and the newly named "Ahmet Ertegun Award" (formerly the non-performer category) will be presented to legendary producers, Gamble & Huff.

For the second time, the induction ceremony will be telecast LIVE from the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City on VH1 Classic and MTV Networks' MHD: Music High-Definition channel on Monday, March 10 at 8:30 PM/ET. In addition, a special two and a half hour highlight edition will premiere on VH1 on Saturday, March 22 at 11:00 PM.

The week leading up to the live special, VH1 Classic will air special programming to salute past and present Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees including Madonna, The Police, Stevie Wonder, Elton John and more.

Highlighted programming for the week includes:

Both a classic documentary and a vital pop-cultural artifact, D.A. Pennebaker's portrait of Bob Dylan in "Don't Look Back" airing on Monday, March 3 at 9:00 PM captures the seminal singer-songwriter on the cusp of his transformation from folk prophet to rock trendsetter. The documentary was shot during Dylan's 1965 British concert tour.

VH1 Classic will air "BBC Crown Jewels: Stevie Wonder" on Tuesday, March 4 at 7:00 PM. The episode will feature a studio concert featuring one of the most enduring stars of popular music, Stevie Wonder. The concert was filmed in Teddington Studios for an audience of less than 200 and includes many of his Motown hits.

Marking 40 years since The Who's first U.S. appearance in North America, "VH1 Rock Docs: Amazing Journey: The Story of The Who" airing on Wednesday, March 5 at 8:00 PM is an exhilarating feature-length film about one of the seminal and most influential rock bands in history. Spanning over four decades, this documentary tells the unfolding story of The Who and how they have straddled the rock world for forty years. The film features all-new, exclusive, never-before-seen interviews with Pete Townshend, Roger Daltrey and others, rare and recently discovered concert footage, artist profiles and more.

"Led Zeppelin: Live" is culled from the few performances filmed during the band's lifetime. You'll see them at London's Royal Albert Hall in January 1970, shortly after the release of their blistering debut album. You'll catch them at Madison Square Garden in '73 then on to London's Earl's Court in May 1975. Finally, you'll sweat and groove to their record-breaking performances at Knebworth in 1979, just one year before the loss of drummer John Bonham. "Led Zeppelin: Live" premieres on Friday, March 7 at 9:00 PM.

On Monday, March 10 at 1:30 PM VH1 Classic will air "Rock and Roll Picture Show: Desperately Seeking Susan" starring Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Madonna and Rosanna Arquette. The film is a delightfully offbeat, original comedy about a bored suburban housewife whose fascination with a kooky character she reads about in the personal ads leads to her being mistaken for the woman herself.
