"We are all very excited about this partnership," says Our Lady of Bloodshed frontman Wally Warwick. "Northern Storm (Records) does great work for all their bands, and we are all looking forward to our future together."
Our Lady of Bloodshed has quickly become a staple of the Canadian metal scene, destroying audiences and opening for acts such as Beneath The Massacre, Ion Dissonance, Misery Index, Neuraxis, Cancer Bats, and most recently a Canadian tour with Yonkers, NY based death-metal outfit Malignancy.
Our Lady of Bloodshed's debut album "VII" was recorded in the fall of 2008 at Mastermind Studios in Hamilton, Ontario under the recording and producing expertise of James McBride and fully encompasses the band's talent and drive.
"It has a little bit of everything," says guitarist Mark Shannelly "Driving rhythms, complicated leads, breakdowns, and even some prog influence. The last three songs on the record are a mini-series telling a story. I think it's going to pull the listener in and keep them pulled in. It really turned out great."
Northern Storm Records has been building an impressive roster of blistering Canadian metal since 2005. The label has released records from No Assembly Required, Panzerfaust, Will of the Ancients and recently partnered with THE Exalted Piledriver for the release of their long-awaited comeback album, "Metal Manifesto", which was mixed by Neil Kernon (Queensrche, Nevermore, Cannibal Corpse, Deicide).
