A movie about The White Stripes is in the pipeline. Details are scarce, but according to Self-Titled magazine, Jack White is currently mixing 40 songs for the soundtrack and it's expected to hit cinemas (possibly) later this year. more

Franz Ferdinand's Alex Kapranos says the band have recorded a split-single with Dutch act De Kift. Writing on Franz Ferdinand's MySpace.com blog, Kapranos revealed that the single will see his band covering De Kift's song 'Heisa Ho' - which is sung in Dutch.more
