George Michael Arrested For Car Crash, Denies Being Drunk

. (BBC) Singer George Michael has said he was "stone cold sober" when he was arrested after a car crash. The 46-year-old singer was held by police after his silver Land Rover hit an articulated lorry in Berkshire in the early hours of Friday.

He was questioned on suspicion of driving under the influence of drink or drugs, but released without charge a few hours later.

Michael, who was back behind the wheel after completing a two-year driving ban, said: "Neither of us was charged because we were both stone cold sober. - more on this story
