.
(PR) After the successful rereleases of his Retaliation CD's, comes the brand new studio album from acclaimed British drummer and musician, Aynsley Dunbar.

Mutiny was recorded throughout 2008 between Aynsley's other touring and session work. This CD is available at iTunes, Amazon and most of your typical sources for great music.

The Mutiny line-up includes some of the best blues musicians today and are as follows: Alastair Greene - Guitar and Vocals * Malcom Anderson - Keyboard & Backing Vocals * Jack Kennedy - Bass Guitar & Backing Vocals * Brad Cordle - Vocals * Tom Savell - Guitar * Joel Savell - Bass Guitar * Carl Wakeland - Keyboards * Aynsley Dunbar - Drums

From the British blues boom of the 1960s emerged some exceptional individual musicians; Cyril Davies, Eric Clapton and Peter Green being among the most notable. But there was no doubt that the Aynsley Dunbar Retaliation took the prize as the most talented blues band, one with no weak links. Although rarely mentioned in the same breath as Ginger Baker, Keith Moon or John Bonham, all the musicians knew that Aynsley Dunbar was a world-class drummer in any popular genre, easily a match for the better-known names. Together with bassist Alex Dmochowski, they formed a rhythm section unmatched on the blues scene for its drive, finesse and the ability to swing. In Victor Brox, the Retaliation had one of Britain's finest blues singers, a multi-instrumentalist and prolific composer. Uniquely among the blues bands, the majority of the Retaliation's recorded output was self-penned and guitarist, John Morshead provided a master class in 'less is more'; a blues player of taste and fluency rivalled only by Peter Green.

Aynsley Dunbar grew up in Liverpool and by his mid teens was already playing in local jazz bands, inspired as he was by the great American swing drummers like Buddy Rich and Joe Morello. He worked his way through the ranks of Liverpool beat bands including comedian Freddie Star's band, The Flamingos and the Mojos where Sweeney star Lewis Collins was his bass partner. Other groups and artists that Aynsley has played with throughout his incredible career include John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, Jeff Beck Group, Mothers of Invention, David Bowie, Journey, Jefferson Starship, Whitesnake and many, many others.
