The young Vancouver-based band with a remarkable talent for blending various musical styles into a brand of infectious pop that is uniquely their own will start their upcoming tour February 26 at Seattle's High Dive and end off April 24 at the infamous Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto, hitting Austin's SXSW Music Festival in March and LA's Musexpo Conference in April along the way.
Settling down for only a short time after their September 2008 release of It's Easier To Be Somebody Else and the album's subsequent tour, Hey Ocean! is ready to take to the road again.
The energy, charisma, and feel-good vibe of Hey Ocean!, captured perfectly by well-known indie producer Jos Miguel Contreras in their latest release, have led the group to continued success. It comes as great news for American fans most of whom have not yet been privy to the spectacle that is Hey Ocean's live show - that Hey Ocean! is at long last playing a string of dates down the American West Coast.
