Proceeds from the event will benefit several organizations, including The Max Cure Fund For Pediatric Cancer Research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, The T.J. Martell Foundation, for Leukemia, Cancer and AIDS research, and Katy's Courage Fund.
The Max Cure Foundation for Pediatric Cancer Causes. A gentleman by the name of David Plotkin started this foundation. His 4 year old son, Max, was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer. He's been raising money for not only the cancer clinic that treats his son, but for families at this clinic with kids that are less fortunate.
