Hollands Releasing Mother EP

.
(PR) The concept of mixing rock and roll music with string arrangements is nothing new, but with the release of Hollands second EP, Mother, on October 13th one can only marvel at the sonic beauty orchestrated between the pounding drums, driving guitar and elegant and complimentary violin and cello parts often emphasized by distortion and other effects.

Moving from the guitar-riff laden opening track, "Air Conditioned Heart" to the closing song, "Dirty Rum," a soft, folk-esque contemplation of the brokenness of death, Mother is an exploration deep into the mind of John-Paul Norpoth, the lead songwriter for the group.

Over the summer the band received some great coverage for their first EP, Faces, including, Short and Sweet NYC and Insomnia Radio, and now they will be performing on an upcoming episode of Fearless Music Television.

To celebrate the auspicious occasion, Hollands will be performing at Piano's on October 13th where they will be featuring music from both the new EP and their previous release, Faces.
