Doucet is Canadian, but just like his heroes (and fellow countrymen) Neil Young and Rick Danko, he has laced his unique music with Americana, country, and plenty of twang.
Luke's 'Blood's Too Rich,' out now on Six Shooter, is a sprawling album of the aforementioned genres bridged by rock, both classic and contemporary, paying homage to his heroes, his native land, and everything south of it. Guitar Player says, "['Blood's Too Rich'] is twangy, rootsy and just plain awesome."
