This huge announcement comes on the heels of the band being handed picked by Megadeth for select North American dates in December. The band received the news as they were playing headline dates on route to kick off a lengthy U.S. trek with Vader, Decrepit Birth, The Amenta, Augury and Swashbuckle Nov. 4 in Baltimore, Maryland.
John Kevill (vocals) further states: "To be honest, I never in a million years thought a band as huge as Slipknot would specifically request us to open a show for them and we are beyond excited to have this opportunity. There are already over 4,000 tickets sold so this is easily going to be the biggest show we ever played in the U.S. Unfortunately we'll have to miss Albuquerque to do this and apologize to our fans who've been asking us back. In the meantime, we have almost 2 months of North American shows with Vader and Decrepit Birth and then Megadeth and Suicide Silence before ending the years with 3 headline shows in Hawaii, so the rest of the year is looking completely bad ass. The band's live performance is better and more lethal than ever before, so we look forward to seeing you all soon." - more on this story
