Muse's Resistance Is Here As The Band Hit The Road

. (Filter) The wait is over. The Resistance, the fifth studio album from UK rockers Muse, has finally arrived in stores. Recorded in Italy, the album was mixed by famed audio engineer Mark 'Spike' Stent, who is known for his work with U2, Depeche Mode, No Doubt, and Oasis, among many others.

This Sunday, Muse rocked the 2009 Video Music Awards, performing three songs from the album- "Uprising," "The Resistance," and "United States of Eurasia."

This fall, the band will open select shows for U2, including two shows at Giants Stadium in New York. Please see below for tour dates.
