(antiMusic) Pearl Jam is on course to nab its first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart in 13 years. Industry prognosticators suggest the band's new "Backspacer," released on Sunday (Sept. 20), could sell anywhere between 175,000 to 200,000 copies by week's end.more

Nine Inch Nails Trent Reznor is set to collaborate with Gary Numan. Numan who recently appeared on stage at the last ever Nine Inch Nail gig, has said that he is likely to be heading into the studio to write and record some material with the frontman. more

Metallica has donated CAD $21,462 from the box-office take of their two sold-out shows at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on Saturday and Sunday (September 19-20) to Sun Youth, a local community services organization. more

Foo Fighters have revealed the tracklisting for their Greatest Hits due out November 3, 2009. The album will feature two new tracks, "Wheels" and "Word Forward."
