Animal Kingdom's debut album Signs and Wonders is now available in the US exclusively on iTunes. It was released in the UK on Warner Bros Records on September 28, 2009.
Recorded at Seattle's Electrokitty Studios with Phil Ek (Fleet Foxes, The Shins, Band of Horses), Signs and Wonders finds the London quartet countering immediate pop hooks with unpredictable arrangements and moody, cinematic lyrics.
In addition to the dreamy, lovelorn "Tin Man," Signs and Wonders includes the delicately crafted, emotive pop of debut UK single "Chalk Stars" and the eerie flow of "Two By Two," which showcases the ethereal, haunting vocals of front man Richard Sauberlich.
Animal Kingdom have shared the stage with bands as diverse as Vampire Weekend, Band of Horses, Camera Obscura and Snow Patrol, and they just wrapped a successful UK Tour with Silversun Pickups.
