Hellyeah, Nothingface & Dog Fashion Disco Supergroup Knives Out Preview New Music
. "We are excited beyond words to show the world what this band is. Our record in undeniable," commented guitarist Jasan Stepp. "April 17th will be our first show performing without Tom, who is busy with Hellyeah. Tom is still a member of Knives Out, which is why we have chosen to not have some guy come in to play his parts. It has taken a ton of practice and a pretty elaborate, multi-amplifier guitar rig to make this a one guitar band, but we feel like it has worked incredibly well. Adding another personality to our band didn't seem like the right thing to do." Knives Out recently finished recording their debut album at Wrightway Studios in Baltimore, MD. The album is currently being shopped to interested labels for release in late 2010. The band independently released a self-titled four song EP online through iTunes and digital retailers earlier this year. "The new album is our crowning achievement and exactly what we set out to be and sound like," says vocalist Todd Smith about the group's upcoming album. "Heavy with groove and full of melody, Knives Out is a fresh, unique and completely original force ready to lead the heavy hard rock genre into the future." KNIVES OUT is comprised of vocalist Todd Smith (DOG FASHION DISCO,POLKADOT CADAVER), guitarist Jasan Stepp (DOG FASHION DISCO, POLKADOT CADAVER), drummer Tommy Sickles (NOTHINGFACE), bassist Dave Cullen (POLKADOT CADAVER) and guitarist Tom Maxwell (HELLYEAH, NOTHINGFACE).
