Original Pantera vocalist Terrence Lee Glaze rejoined his ex-Pantera bandmate Rex Brown (bass) on stage this past Saturday (April 17) at the debut gig from Brown's new project Arms Of The Sun to perform a couple of early Pantera songs � "Come-On Eyes" from 1985's "I Am The Night" and "All Over Tonite" from 1984's "Projects In The Jungle". more including video footage here

Two men settled their negligence and liability lawsuit in which they contended that poor security was to blame for injuries they suffered at the 2007 Ozzfest concert in Devore, Ca. Michael McClelland and Stephen Holloway filed their lawsuit in January 2008. Holloway says he was attacked by a young man with a shaved head and tattoos who was soon joined by other assailants, who grabbed Holloway's hair from behind and kicked him in the face, breaking his jaw in several places. more.

In more positive Ozzy related news, Billboard.com has named Ozzy Osbourne's new single, 'Let Me Hear You Scream', this week's Hot Shot Debut/Greatest Gainer on their Rock Songs chart. The single sits at #23. Hear the song here

MGMT's new album, Congratulations, had a strong showing this week as it debuted at #2 on the sales chart with more than 66,000 copies sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. more

Eric Cargile, bass player for Michigan metal band Bloodlined Calligraphy, has passed away. The group has issued the following statement: "Tuesday, April 20th, Eric Cargile passed away in his sleep. We don't know how this happened, all we do know is that a loss of this magnitude cannot be truly explained in words." more

The Jayhawks' debut album finally will be available on CD � nearly 25 years after it was released. Fans know the Minneapolis band's self-titled debut as "The Bunkhouse Album," since it was first released by Bunkhouse Records in 1986. Only 2,000 vinyl copies were originally pressed. more

Hatebreed is the latest band to cancel European shows as a result of the volcano in Iceland. The group has postponed four shows that were to take place this week in Germany and Belgium. more

Billy Joel's longtime drummer has settled a lawsuit accusing his former boss of depriving him of royalties from many of his biggest albums, the singer's lawyer said on Wednesday. Reuters reports that Liberty DeVitto was Joel's principal drummer from 1975 to 2005, performing on such albums as "The Stranger," "52nd Street," "Glass Houses" and "Storm Front," as well as in Joel's touring band. more

AEG Live CEO Randy Phillips says they are "probably going to kill" the All Points West Festival. "As beautiful as (the site) is, it's very hard to get New Yorkers to cross that river.
