Caddywhompus To Offer New Album As A Free Download
. Wanting to stay consistent with their D.I.Y. work ethic, Rehm and Hart completely self produced and engineered the entirety of 'Remainder' in New Orleans. Wanting their music to have a more immediate impact, and reach a further number of listeners, the duo has decided to offer up 'Remainder' as a free download on the Community Record's website on May 11th. Rehm and Hart have been playing music together since their middle school days and established Caddywhompus in September of 2008. In just two short years they've earned national recognition for their live performances, which include a daunting assortment of amplifiers, effects-pedal tweakery, impeccable musicianship, and a commanding live presence. Song structures alternate between sweet psychedelic indie ballads to the most intense, ear splitting of noise-driven crescendos. They've since toured and shared the stage with nationally touring acts like: Zach Hill, The Antlers, Japanther, Cursive, Wavves, GIVERS, Tera Melos, A Sunny Day in Glasgow, and Math The Band along with countless local New Orleans acts. In support of the release of 'Remainder,' Caddywhompus will be touring both the West and East Coasts over the Summer. Their live show being the best representation of the band, it's truely something which needs to be witnessed to understand exactly what Caddywhompus is all about!
