Cali Swag District Hit Again
. The track produced by hit-makers, Sanchez & M Lane (for NYLA Productions) samples Michael Jackson's 1972 hit "I Wanna Be Where You Are" and has already proven to be a fan favorite. This follows their breakthrough single "Teach Me How To Dougie", and Cali Swag District will perform both tracks for fans at the launch of their very own custom made milkshake at celeb hot spot, Millions of Milkshakes in Los Angeles. On Labor Day, September 6th CSD will take over the Westfield Culver City Mall to launch the "Swagger Stupid Shake." What started as a viral video, "Teach Me How To Dougie" has spiraled into a pop culture phenomenon. The viral, official and remix video (featuring Jermaine Dupri, B.O.B, Bow Wow and Red Cafe) have over 13 million views combined on youtube alone. The nation caught Dougie fever and CSD has everyone from Justin Bieber to Kim Kardashian to the NBA #1 pick John Wall to the Boston Celtics Glen "Big Baby" Davis hitting the groups moves. ESPN went as far as declaring 2010 "The Year of The Dougie" as more and more star athletes followed the dance movement. Comprised of C-Smoove, Yung, Jayare and dancer M Bone, Cali Swag District is gearing up for the release of their debut album, The Kickback due out on October 12th.
