Bill Monroe and Glen Campbell Sideman Donald Lineberger Dies

(Gibson) Donald Lineberger, a renowned left-handed banjo player who worked with Bill Monroe and Glen Campbell died Sunday night in Valdosta, GA.

WALB news reports that the Lowndes County Coroner said 71-year old Donald Lineberger died from smoke inhalation and exposure to heat.

Lineberger played with the legendary Bill Monroe in the mid '60s and also worked on Glen Campbell's national TV show, The Glen Campbell Good Time Hour and on the Smothers Brothers TV show. more on this story
