Saxon Bought A 4X4 Truck To Avoid Missing A Gig

12/21/2010
.
(Rock AAA) Saxon frontman Biff Byford bought a 44 truck the day before the band's appearance at Hard Rock Hell in Prestatyn because he was worried they'd miss their festival set amid bad weather.

It's the worst winter in decades across the UK, with the transport infrastructure frequently gridlocked because the authorities spent three years' money on clearing roads last winter.

But Byford was determined that a fresh fall of deep snow a few days before Hard Rock Hell wouldn't stop Saxon's show.
