Aerosmith's Tyler Wasn't Allowed To Walk Slash's Way (Top Story)

Aerosmith's Tyler Wasn't Allowed To Walk Slash's Way was a top story in August. Here it is again as we recap 2010: It doesn't take too close of a listen to know that Aerosmith is one of Slash's biggest influences so it was curious that his star-packed solo album didn't feature a collaboration with a member from his favorite band.

We know learn that it was planned but apparently label politics prevented it from coming off. "When it came down to it I ended up working with everybody I'd pegged for the material I wrote," Slash says in a new interview.

"I worked with Steven for a second, but it was a huge conflict of interest with Aerosmith. There was no chance the label was going to allow us to release it, so we had to let it go," he said. "The song hasn't been used with anybody else, so I might go back and revisit that with Steven." -
