Lady Gaga Dominates MTV Video Music Awards Nominations was a top story in August. Here it is again as we recap 2010: Perhaps MTV should rename the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards the Lady Gaga Awards after Gaga snagged thirteen nominations including "Best Pop Video," "Best Female Video" and "Best Dance Music Video" for her global chart-topping hit "Bad Romance."

Here is the announcement with the full list of nominees: No stranger to breaking records, Gaga can now boast having the most nominations ever in a single VMA as well as being the first female artist nominated for two different videos in the "Video of the Year" category for "Bad Romance" and "Telephone" featuring Beyoncé. Coming off the success of his latest album, Eminem is this year's most nominated male artist, racking up eight nominations including "Best Male Video," and "Video of the Year" for "Not Afraid."

VMA newcomer Ke$ha is up for three Moonmen for "Tik Tok" while up and coming rapper B.o.B has an impressive five nominations including in the "Best Hip-Hop" category for "Airplanes" against "Forever" by Drake. - more on this story
