Deftones announced the title and release date of their brand new record. Diamond Eyes will be available everywhere May 18. The first track to be released is called "Rocket Skates", and will be available for free download at deftones.com next Tuesday, February 23. more

Jimi Hendrix's stepsister, Janie Hendrix, who controls the late guitar god's estate, let it slip during an L.A. Times interview that a Hendrix edition of "Rock Band" will be coming before the end of the year. more

Abbey Road, the iconic London recording studios, has been put on the market by EMI, according to the Financial Times. The studio was immortalized by the 1969 Beatles album of the same name which featured a cover of the band walking away from building. more. Axl Rose has apparently changed management once again. In a long twitter post, the Guns N' Roses frontman told fans that "Guns is now managed by Doc McGhee." McGhee was Motley Crue's manager back during their heyday and manages the current incarnation of KISS. Axl also denied the Slash T-shirt ban story started by Trash Media Zine, and had this to say about reportedly starting their secret club gig late, "Goin' on late at Rose Bar nonsense: Nope, Nopity, Nope!! 1:30am on time!
