The Undeserving is comprised of brothers Clay and Kyle Kirchenbauer (vocals/piano and drums, respectively) and well as Brennan Willis (guitar) and Jimmie Getty (bass). All four grew up in a tiny town outside Toledo, OH where the cultural hub was the local Walmart. Wanting more, they each turned to music as a way out, eventually finding one another and forming the band. Raised in a musical family, the brothers Kirchenbauer eschewed traditional music lessons in favor of developing their own style. The result is emotive, piano-driven rock (think Keane, The Fray) with simple but highly personal lyrics. "We want to bring a positive message and a message of hope and encouragement to our listeners," Clay says.
