Elvis Tribute Concert Planned

. (Gibson) Elvis Presley is to be celebrated in a concert at London's Hyde Park on September 12. Had he lived Elvis would have turned 75 on January 8, 2010.

The BBC Radio 2 Elvis Forever concert will be broadcast live and presented by Chris Evans. Evan told the BBC, "As the Radio 2 audience knows, I am a huge Elvis fan and it's an honor to host such a celebration of the enduring appeal of his music."

No performers have been announced but a similar ABBA tribute concert held in Hyde Park last year featured artists of the caliber of Kylie Minogue, ABBA's Benny Andersson, Jamie Cullum, The Feeling, Chaka Khan and Lulu. - more on this story
