On the 14-track compilation, Margaret Cho performs an original song that she wrote entitled "Restraining Order;" Margaret and the series lead star Brooke Elliott sing a duet of "Would I Lie To You;" series co-star Ben Feldman sings a compelling rendition of "Baby, I Need Your Loving." There is also an original song from Confetti entitled "Begin Again" that features prominently, as a real clue, in episode six of season two. Other artists featured on the album include Becca Jones, Platinum Pied Pipers, Lil' Wendy, Madi Diaz, Dri, Katie Herzig, Malbec and Joshua Morrison. "DROP DEAD DIVA has not only attracted fresh new musical acts to our show, but we also have a talented group of actors with amazing voices," said creator and executive producer Josh Berman. "I feel so fortunate to work with Scott Starrett, an ASCAP top TV composer of 2009, and Libby Umstead, TV's best music supervisor. I think our fans will love the CD as much as they enjoy the series.
