Motley Crue Singer Arrested
. Jam! reports that Neil's car was pulled over late Sunday after police received a complaint from a woman who alleged Neil had smashed her camera earlier in the evening. This isn't Neil's first drunk driving arrest; in the mid-80s he was charged with vehicular manslaughter after crashing his Pantera while under the influence. His passenger, Hanoi Rocks drummer Nicholas "Razzle" Dingley, was killed in the crash and the two occupants of the vehicle Neil struck in the accident were seriously injured. Neil served 15 days of a 30 day jail sentence and was also sentenced to five years' probation, paid $2.6 million in restitution to the victims of the crash and served 200 hours of community service. Neil was reportedly also pulled over for a DUI in Las Vegas in 2007 but allegedlyworked out a deal to have the charge reduced. Read about that arrest here Preview and Purchase Motley Crue CDs |
