Today is the world premiere of If I Can Dream, a ground-breaking webbased TV-quality reality series that chronicles what it takes to really "make it" in Hollywood. The show, which is produced by Simon Fuller's 19 Entertainment (creator of globally recognized hit shows like Pop Idol, American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance), is Hulu's first recurring series to be made available to international audiences worldwide. Every week for the next year, Hulu will begin streaming new episodes on Tuesday mornings, shortly after midnight Pacific Time.

In the first episode of If I Can Dream, available at www.hulu.com/ificandream, viewers are introduced to all five of the aspiring artists a musician, an actor, two actresses and a model as they leave behind their friends, family and hometowns and embark on a Journey to Hollywood. At the start of their journey, the aspiring artists begin a promotional tour to help create buzz and awareness for the show. Throughout the first episode, the artists come to the realization that they have begun the road to accomplishing their dreams.

To help viewers keep up with the fast-paced lives of each aspiring artist, Hulu has created a few new features, including custom show pages for each artist and dedicated feeds into their Twitter accounts. With these new tools, viewers can watch, follow each artist on Twitter, write a review, or join discussions about the show, all in one place on Hulu.

Starting today, viewers are also able to access to the lives of the five aspiring artists in their Hollywood Hills home via ificandream.com, where more than 50 cameras will live-stream their every move 24/7. Combined, the weekly show and the live stream will work to dramatically expand the borders and constrictions of traditional television via the power of the internet.
