Rotten Records Tour To Feature Polkadot Cadaver, Vampire Moose, Ideamen and Karen Page
. Polkadot Cadaver is formed by members of the now defunct notable Baltimore avant-garde metal band Dog Fashion Disco. Polkadot Cadaver is very similar to Dog Fashion Disco stylistically and the songs are still very quirky and unique from each other. The brilliance of the band's musical output lies within their ability to sonically shape shift like a musical chameleon that can adapt to any music style. St. Louis quartet Vampire Mooose may well be the meanest musical beast you ever encounter. It certainly will be distinctive by fusing death metal brutality and raw hardcore intensity with abstract, progressive arrangements and jazz-like instrumental dexterity. Mooose sounds something like the progeny of an insane cross-breeding of Meshuggah, Dillinger Escape Plan and Obituary - only weirder and more vicious. Ideamen, from Chicago's south side, formed in 2006 from the ashes of the bands Duct Tape Mustache and Soulvasq. Their newest album was released on October 27th, which takes elements of 70's piano pop infused with modern rock. Ideamen created their own sound, complete with dual-lead vocalists, a strong keyboard presence, and their trademark, four-part vocal harmonies. Hailing from a small town on the Ohio River, Karen Page has quickly become known for being hilarious and brutal without compromising either end of the spectrum. Karen Page's music pinball's the listener from dirty metal riffs to grinding breakdowns, dance breaks and sing-along's. Now becoming the newest part of the Rotten Records family, KP will be violating your ears, confusing young and old alike.
