It's a story as old as the Beatles. Stone Temple Pilots Scott Weiland offers this explanation for his split with Velvet Revolver: "When Velvet Revolver first got together, it was great. I got to know the guys before: Met Duff at the gym... I was in rehab with Matt. I'd only met Slash twice - he's not the most social person. We had all been through the same experiences, and it felt like a gang," Weiland tells Details Magazine according to Jam!. "But everyone was a rock star. There were petty jealousies. Then the wives got involved with the business of the band, and that was the beginning of the downfall." more

Green Day will be hitting the road with AFI this summer for a North American tour. The fun will kick off on August 3rd year, with AFI opening. The trek is slated to begin August 3 at Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, New Jersey. The read of the dates are TBA.
