Former Anthrax singer Joey Belladonna was seen with Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante and bassist Frank Bello this past Wednesday (April 28) at the Fozzy concert at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in New York City, prompting speculation that he is in talks to rejoin the band in time for the group's upcoming "Big Four" shows in Europe with Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer, according to Blabbermouth. (Belladonna lives in upstate New York while Benante is a Chicago resident, making it somewhat unlikely that this was simply a chance encounter.) more

Natavia Lowery was sentenced to a prison term of 27 years and four months to life in the slaying of Linda Stein, who co-managed influential punk rockers the Ramones in their 1970s heyday and later became a real estate broker with clients including Madonna and Sting. more

ContactMusic says that Slipknot "Clown" Shawn Crahan is eyeing a move into politics after he was nominated to run for the position of Iowa governor [in] the state's upcoming elections. The Ataris vocalist Kris Roe was recently in a car accident and as a result, the band has been forced to cancel their upcoming show in San Francisco. The band explained: Kris was in a bad car wreck this week. His car was totaled, front end completely smashed, roof rip opened. The person in front of him slammed on their brakes unexpectedly, he swerved out of the way to avoid hitting them, causing him to slam into a massive LED construction warning sign." more
