Ana Egge Announces Tour Dates
. Egge will continue to tour with a stop at the Ghost Room in her adopted hometown of Austin on June 2nd. From there Ana will play several dates in Colorado and New Mexico before heading on to Europe with Joel Plaskett in July. Ana grew up a farmer's daughter in Ambrose, North Dakota (pop. 23). When Ana was a teen, her family moved to Silver City New Mexico where they started their own progressive school. After finishing school, learning to build her own house and guitar, Ana moved to Austin, TX where she recorded her first album, River Under the Road, for which she garnered two Austin Music Awards for Best Folk Artist and Best Singer-Songwriter. The Austin Chronicle proclaimed River Under The Road "A debut masterpiece worthy of a songwriter decades worldlier than this mere twenty-year old soul."
