Angel Taylor Announces Dates With Kris Allen, Ben Kweller and Barenaked Ladies
. Taylor a current VH1 "You Oughta Know" Artist On The Rise will join Barenaked Ladies beginning July 8, in Council Bluffs, IA, and play more than two dozen packed amphitheatres before the tour wraps August 14, in Rochester, NY (see dates below). She is joined on the bill by Kris Allen and Ben Kweller. Angel is no stranger to the road, as she has spent the past year and a half touring in support of her Love Travels debut with acts including Grammy Award Winner Adele, Gavin DeGraw, Mat Kearny, Ingrid Michaelson, Five For Fighting, Brett Dennen, Kate Voegele and Brandi Carlile. Named Best Pop Album of 2009 by iTunes, Taylor's Love Travels [Aware/Columbia Records] was one of the year's most infectious albums, combining the critically-acclaimed singer-songwriter's penchant for storytelling with sugary-sweet pop anthems. Lead single "Like You Do" is currently charting at Hot AC radio, and the video is in peak rotation on VH1. Angel Taylor will perform both "Like You Do" and "Make Me Believe" on the CBS Early Show, Saturday, May 8. The appearance won't be her first on network television she appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show last fall. Taylor participated in the VH1 Best Cruise Ever earlier this month, and is currently on the road with Green River Ordinance through May 6 ANGEL TAYLOR WITH BARENAKED LADIES Click here to read today's full Day in Pop report Preview and Purchase Angel Taylor CDs |
