Cady Groves Inks With RCA
Influenced by artists she likes to say "drip with truth," Cady describes her music as, "If Paramore and the Dixie Chicks all had a less talented baby - that would be me." Raised on country music and "whatever was on the radio," Cady will be heading into the studio in the fall to begin work on her debut album.
Cady recently self released an EP, The Life Of A Pirate , which is currently available on iTunes, Amazon and select Hot Topic stores and is featured on an upcoming track from Secondhand Serenade.
Having already toured with the likes of Never Shout Never, The Ready Set and Carter Hulsey, 20 year old Cady, who hails from Oklahoma City, OK, is looking forward to spending the summer on tour before going into the studio in the fall to begin work on her debut album, due out in early 2011.
"We are overjoyed to be working with Cady, she is bursting with raw talent and passion," says Barry Weiss, Chairman and CEO, RCA/JIVE Label Group. "We are thrilled Rani Hancock was able to bring Cady to the RCA family and look forward to having a bright future with this young star."
